What is EICMA?
EICMA is the world's longest-running motorcycle trade fair. With more than 700 stands from 45 different countries, it is one of the most spectacular motorcycle shows in the world. New models are unveiled for the first time in a space of more than 1500 m². Manufacturers from across the globe debut their new models and show off their range at the different press conferences. This year, Honda is one of them! Over 100 world premieres happen at the fair, making it a mecca for fans of motorbikes. In fact, many motorcycle aficionados consider EICMA to be unmissable!
EICMA, also referred to as the International Motorcycle and Accessories Exhibition, is a six-day motorcycle trade fair. For many, it is the highlight of the year. This year, which is the 81st edition, is taking place from Tuesday 5 November to Sunday 10 November 2024 in the Fiera complex in Milan. The first two days are for the press and invitees, and from Thursday, it is open to the public. The leading motorcycle and accessory makers showcase their products in eight different exhibition halls, as well as outdoors. Apart from the latest motorbike models, there are other attractions at EICMA. In the MotoLive area, there are racing shows, music and entertainment to enjoy. Visitors can see their favourite motorbike racers in action with brand new models.
Aside from the motorcycles themselves, accessories, like clothing, are also featured at the fair, and even the latest models of e-bikes have a place at EICMA. A recent addition to the show is the Esports Arena, an exhibition focused on gaming. Visitors get a chance to try out the latest models of games console, and test out exclusive motorcycle games.
Honda at EICMA in 2023
Last year, EICMA welcomed 2036 motorcycle and accessory brands, including Honda. The Fiera complex in Milan drew over 560,000 visitors who enjoyed everything the world of motorcycling has to offer.
Honda presented four new models in 2023: the CBR600RR, the NX500, the CB1000 Hornet and the CB500 Hornet. Each one of these new models is a product of Honda’s constant quest for technological innovation, with high-quality engines and a modern look.
